Three men in a boat
Three middle-class men felt that they needed a rest and planned a vacation from Kingston to Oxford by boat. I should have managed to load a mountain of luggage and a fighting fox terrier on a boat and enjoyed the beautiful scenery by the river.
This book was a little difficult for me to understand the whole content. It is because that I am not interested in British history. I will study history more and I would like to try to read this book again.
The Lost Cup
I have borrowed this book because it is about World Cup in Rio in 2014.
This book inspires my curiosity. I could be a detective and choose my story by my choice. I don't like reading books but I could enjoy reading this book. Maybe, this book includes 8 endings, and I read this book three times in different ways.
In one of the endings, Pele appeared, who is a god of soccer. I found the lost cup and let the police arrest the thief to protect him.
A Love for Life
I had never read such a thick and long book, and it took a long time to read.
The main character is Fenella who promised to get married to Steven. They have decided to get an adopted child. But he suddenly had an affair with another woman and betrayed Fenella.
Fenella can't give birth to a child and she couldn't give up an adopted child. Then she decided to nurture an adopted child whose name is Erry.
Fenella needed her partner. She fell in love with Erry's teacher Rod. But Rod had already had his beautiful wife. Fenella associated with Mark against her will.....
The Piano
One day, a poor boy came to work at a farm. Then, the owner told him to clean a room which had a lot of garbage. The boy did as the owner told. When he cleaned the room, he found a piano. He had never took some piano lessons. But once he put his fingers on the piano, he could somehow play the piano.
The owner's daughter heard his playing and decided to teach paying the piano to him. He practiced again and again, he finally could participate in the concert.
We don't know what will happen to our life.
Go, Lovely Rose
This book consists of 5 stories. I will introduce one of them.
One man has a daughter, he tresure his daughter, of course. He has a daughter only her. One day, his daughter went out in midnight. He worried her that she had an accident. He roamed around the town and he finally could find her. She played with a men he is smart and good. Her father relieved.
I have no children yet, but if I have them, I definately love and spoil. When my daughter get married some day, I will cry.
Tick Tock promised clock
This book was written by Akihiro Nishino who wrote Puppel of Chimney Town. This book is about clock. I have heard the author's speech in Kinki University.Then, he gave a persuasive message, using a clock system.
A clock has two hand which are longer and shoter one, as everyone knows. They meet once in an hour, about 1:05, 2:11, 3:17 ..... But from 11 o'clock to 12, they don't meet. Next they meet at 0:00 o'clock, which is supposed to ring a bell. He wants to say that you will have to stand if your effort is ineffectual. But don't mind, the two hands will definately meet again. So never give up!
I listened to his sppech and read this book, and I can challenge some things.
Curious George flies a kite
First of all, I like Arashi which is a Japanese idol group. I like the song Kite of their song. So I wanted to read this book.
This book is about that George is interesred in flying something and he flies with a kite, because he is a clever monkey and light.
He was finally helped by his owner using a hang glider.
Although my review is a little weak and short, I wanted many people to read the books of Curious George series. He is very cute and clever monkey.
