英語教育講義⑬

 　今回の授業では大見さんが話してくださった。彼は昨年の我々のExrensive Reading and Listening Iaに来てくださっていたので、知っていた。高校で先生をしながらこうやって大学の授業に顔を出してくださる所や、大学院生として修士論文に向けて研究を進めておられるところが純粋にすごいと思った。また大学院1年生の小川さんともつながりが深いようで２人とも研究熱心だなと思った。大学に来た以上頑張らなければいけないと思った。

  This time, we spoke with each other, based on “information gap”. I played roll in B. I had a great time. We shared the information of artists and works. I could speak slowly in order to let the opponent understand. The professor prepared the script for us, so we could do smoothly. I would like to speak without the script next time.

  From this class, we are supposed to be taught by professor Lavin. This time, we had some conversations divided into two roles, A and B. Through these conversations, I learned that it was important to understand what the opponent wants to say and speak clearly. If we can’t understand each other, the conversation doesn’t work well. When I talk with someone, I will speak slowly and clearly.
